The New Year is just around the corner and most of you know I’m a huge fan of the Dollar Tree. So many things you can find there and all are just a buck each. It was no surprise that I headed over to my local store to see what fun New Year’s décor I could find just for our table at home. We don’t usually make a big deal out of New Year, I usually fall asleep by 8pm and totally miss the New Year. We always make a joke that we watch the Firework in Germany online and then we go to bed, which is 6pm Florida time. Hey, at least we watched one Country jump into the New Year, right?
This year I’ve planned to stay up till midnight and thanks to Dollar Tree I found a few simple items that even the non-crafty person or the budget friendliest person could do, too.
How do you ring in the New Year?
I found some fun golden plates, a huge soda bottle (I’ll use as our bubbly… we don’t usually drink alcohol), some Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies (Oh, I was sooo excited for that, can you believe at the Dollar Tree??…YUMM), a silver balloon weight that I’ll use as a centerpiece along with some silver foil shreds.
As you can see, I spent like $6 bucks and now have a fun table setting and something to ring in the New Year in style. I told you it doesn’t have to break the bank to make it fun and special.
Dollar Tree always has fun items that you can use during the different Holiday Seasons, party ideas as well as everyday items. I can’t wait to head back and do some New Year’s organizing with their amazing selection of tubs, canisters and buckets.

Clean, clean, clean. The New Year for me is always a cleaning marathon, out with the old and in with the new, but not till I scrub the house top to bottom and Dollar Tree has an amazing selection of cleaning supplies that will help me get the job done on a budget

Budget friendly dinner ideas. Dollar Tree has you covered, too. They have a huge selection of well-known brands stocked in their stores, making it easy to run in and grab a few items when time is running out. I even found a cool section with frozen or refrigerated items at my store, how cool is that?

Stock up on snacks for the kids and friends. This is a must, we constantly have kids in and out and all always ask for a snack, they would eat me out of the house and home if I would let them. Dollar Tree has very affordable snack options that I even let the kids pick their own and they love it.

Decorate the house for spring. I love to decorate and change my décor often, if I don’t have to spend too much, that’s even better. Dollar Tree has a huge selection of flowers, vases and anything you may need for spring.
There you have my bucket list of things that I want to get done the next few weeks and I know thanks to Dollar Tree I can get my bucket list crossed off quickly.
